Separation of free formaldehyde in the float or in the leather is unlikely compared to some resin tanning agents.
Compatible with all anionic tanning agents, dyes, and auxiliaries.
Renders leather fuller, especially in loosely structured areas.
Imparts fine, closed grain and a soft handle.
Gives good dyeing properties.
Hardly any lightening effect on colour.
Improves buffing properties of suede and nubuck.
