Polyfunctional Aldehyde Syntan (White Leather)

SUSTAN OA is a polyfunctional aldehyde syntan for white leather.

Appearance Transparent liquid

pH (10%) 6.0 - 8.0

Highly efficient self-tanning agent with reactive sequestering groups.
Does not crosslink on its own during storage (unlike conventional aldehyde tanning agents).
Can be used in pre-tanning, tanning, and retanning.
In chrome tanning (as pre-tan) it produces fuller and smoother wet blue.
In vegetable tanning it improves absorption of vegetable tanning material and produces very smooth grain surface.
After chrome tanning but before fixation, it gives excellent exhaustion resulting in round and smooth-grained wet blues.
Excellent for chrome-free and white leathers.
Raises shrinkage temperature and is non-yellowing.
Improves tear strength and increases depth of dyeing.
Suitable for fur tanning without reducing optic and sheen of fur.
