SUSTAN PT is a pretanning syntan for all types of vegetable-tanned leather.

SUSTAN PT enhances subsequent vegetable tannage by strongly dispersing vegetable extracts for rapid penetration through the pelt.
SUSTAN PT is non-astringent and readily soluble, so it can be added directly to delimed pelt through the drum.
Neutralizes residual lime in the pelt and its buffering capacity allows vegetable tannins to penetrate more uniformly.
Provides strong pre-tanning effect allowing subsequent vegetable tanning by both classical and rapid processes.
Reduces possibility of copper and iron stains in subsequent vegetable tanning.
